Stephen and Jin

This is about my PSD Jin. He has literally changed and saved my life from the day I got him. Sat 14 Feb 09 Valentines Day My name is Jin but they've been calling me Harvey. I am a 9 week old border collie and someone just took me away from my brothers and sisters. I was put in a car and we drove off a long way. It was very scary. We stopped at a brown and yellow house where my new mistress carried me inside and put me down. What is going on, where are my brothers and sisters? I want my Mama. Then this big brown and white dog walked over to me. She said, My name is Abby the rough collie and we're going to be good friends then she kissed me and said she was going to be my new Mama. She's very pretty. Later that day Mistress me and while I was eating something black walked in and put it's face in my bowl. I jumped, What are you? I'm Sebastian the Monter, it said, I am a cat and you belong to me now as he ate more of my food then walked off tail in the air. The next day Mistress woke up, fed me then left. I could see outside but couldn't go there and I had to poop so I did it on the floor where I could see outside. I played for awhile and wanted to play with Abby but she was sleeping and growfed, Play later, sleep now. Sebastian was nowhere to be seen so I went back to sleep. Abby is barking, it's loud, what's happening? I run as far as I can to hide in a corner and I hear voices and then there was a face. Then there was a face, black and white with one blue eye and one brown. I sat there and cried. It had been 3½ years since Bas had passed and I never thought I would see another border collie in this house. Hello Jin I said as he came over and started giving me puppy kisses. He knows my name, my real and true name. This is my new master, not the girl who brought me in. His name is Ranger, a proper name befitting the owner a border collie. And for the rest of the day we played and I slept in his arms, nice and warm. Jin curls into my lap his tail wagging and lets out a deep sigh. Happy and content I share the experience this most precious gift from my daughter knowing that for awhile at least it shall be, Together we, Ranger and Jin.
