Lexi

My fiancee and I rescued Lexi last year in April from a shelter. The only information we had on her,was that she was picked up on the side of the street. She showed many signs of previous abuse, but she was only a year old, and I knew in my heart that we could rehabilitate her, with alot of love, and positive attention. At first, she was terrified of us, but within a few days, the trust, and bond was forming. Within a week she new her name, was house trained, and started to learn how to sit, stay, give paw, roll over, etc. She is a remarkable, loving, smart dog. In this past year she has become more than a rescue animal, but truly part of my family. She goes everywhere with us, and sleeps with us everynight. Her favorite things to do are playing with her friends at the dog park, hiking, fetching, hide and seek, boating, cuddling, and getting treats..of course!! I couldn't imajine my lfe without her...she completes me!!!
